Dear Krishna

one topic I have missed. There is one "special" phrase as: "see user defined text" which can be established in SAP EHS system. Using this phrase and some additional WWI development etc. you can show user defined text in wwi report "insetad" of usefull phrase. (e.g. check https://www.consolut.com/en/s/sap-ides-access/d/s/doc/YP-RELNEHS_SAF_27A_VFG

(topic: New Functions in Report Generation ( RELNEHS_SAF_27A_VFG ))

In any case. topic is discussed not that often. One example

Check as well online help: User-Defined Texts and Documents - Specification Management (EHS-BD-SPE) - SAP Library

Hi Krishna,

the rule sets don't read user defined texts. As Christoph mentioned, whether or not to maintain data there is a company-specific decision. If used, keep in mind that they are not automatically translated, so printing them on a SDS is dangerous at best.

Dear Krishna

the use of this is a "company specific decision". With SAP standard a number of "user defined text types" are delivered. You can use them;: or you can add new ones. By using them you can "add" further information ín the database as "free text" (as long as needed). You can upload documents as well (if proper customizing is done)

For "rule sets": I have no clue if SAP rulesets uses the "user def text". I know for "content" load this is used.
