Use of special characters using UTF-8 or ISO-8859-1 content type into a MII SendMail Function

Hi

Im using MII 12.2.3.

My transaction is trying to send two diffent e-mails.

One that send an irpt file with charts as attachments, and another one that use only plain text.

In the sendMail function I set the charset as UTF-8 or ISO-8859-1.

For the e-mail that send plain text, I set the mimetype as text/plain and the special characters are shown without any problem into the e-mail.

The problem start in the second one.with this characteristics.

1.- The subject shows without problem the special characters

2.- The irpt file has <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset="ISO-8859-1"> as meta information

3.- The Charset set as UTF-8 or ISO-8859-1.  I set it up into the object configuration properties,  as well as giving a value to sendMail.Charset property.

4.- The MimeType set as text/html.  I set it up into the object configuration properties, as well as giving a value to sendMail.MessageMimeType property

Can you help me, and let me know if Im doing something wrong?

SAP MII experts, told me that, this will be fixed in next patch on June, 2012
