Usage not getting copied in the referenced substance

Hi All,

We  are facing a problem of  "Usage not getting copied " in the referenced substance.in our new system.

For example i have a reference specification in which the usage is assigned for a property( eg : labelling - R phrases  Corrosive  US as usage ,Explosive -UK as Usage etc in different instances). When i use this reference substance in a REAL SUB the values are getting copied ( ie, Corrosive,Explosive etc) ,but not usgae( US or UK aganist the respective instances).

Also when i try to overwrite referencing so as to insert the "Usage" manually in REAL SUB it returns a "Internal program error"(SAPLC107VAT ).

We have done a client copy to new system recently.

Any valuable inputs will be highly appreciated!!

Thanks in advance

George

Dear George

what does "We have done a client copy to new system recently." mean? Did create in the same system a new "client"? did you prepare a new system and tried to "copy" customzing etc. from one system to the other?

1.) Does target system have the same release status? Higher SP? EnhPack activated?

2.) did you check "numbering" schema of specifications in target system ?

After a system copy especially in EH&S you need to check a number of customizing activities etc. so that the new system will run properly (e.g. rfc connections (WWI) etc. etc.)

You should stop your work actually. Assumption form my side: during the "system copy" something happened so that this basic functionality can not work properly; as there are too many reasons you need to perform step by step checks starting e.g. with customizing comparison etc. etc.

Hi Christoph,

Thanks..yes we are doing an upgrade now to ECC 6. We also think that something happened during the copy phase...investigating the same now..

Regards
