Usage autopopulated as PUBLIC:REG_WORLD for Compliance Check Property tree

Hello, I am configuring the compliance check property tree (standard) for Recipe Development and I cannot edit the "Usage" field and it is left blank, but I need to inform something there according to the Regulation I state.

I have already configured Usage Profile with multiple Ratings and Validation areas.

How can I edit the Usage field to have a default value?

Is the Usage Profile you already configured assigned to the Value Assignment Type(Node in the Property Tree for which you are checking the Usage Characteristic) under IMG -> EHS -> Basic Data and Tools -> Specification Management -> Specification Database Structure -> Settings for Value Assignment -> Specify Value Assignment Types & Double click the Value Assignment where you want to assign the usage profile?

You may, at the Recipe level in EHS Transaction CG02/CG02BD, assign a Default Usage Profile Under
Utilities -> Settings -> Usage Profile. I'm unable to check due to a data update restriction but i guess this will apply to all the Value Assignment types i.e. all Nodes with Usage characteristic..

As we do not know if you are using the variant "with Expert server" of "without": we can not help.

Please explain: which variant you have selected.. then may be somebody can help.

i did not catch your issue perfect. Can you please write down/describe: what step you could to and what not? Please share some screenshots to be on the save side.

The "set up" of "CG02" is not easy to understand. And there a specialitites to consider sometimes

I have the Usage Profile assigned to the nodes of the property tree and additionally - thanks to your answer - I activated the Usage through the CG02. However, I can only inform this field through this tcode in the backend and I cannot edit it in the front-end (I tried setting it as editable in the set-up table based VATs but that did not work).

Additionally, the compliance check does not work since it is never retrieving results back but I have followed the full configuration instructions from SAP. Do you know if there is something special that needs to be done which is not explained there?

I think the remarks by vijay.hariharan are spot on.

However if you can't even manually add a usage you might be lacking the authorization to do so. Please check with TR SU53.
