Update not working in KPI Monitoring

Hi All,

I am using SAP MII 14.0 SP4 patch5.

In the "lifecycle" of the KPI definition I have selected the mode as "Update". But each time of my run job I am getting the new set of data. I think its appending the data instead of update. Let me know how to avoid it?. It's a bug or how?

Please advice?

Hi Prakash

Update mode should update the matching records in your data set. Any records not in the KPI already would be added. Please check that the data you are trying to update is available in the KPI to be updated. Especially check the Timestamp field.

Thanks for the reply.

Since I am having "Timestamp" which is a datenow. The Timestamp column changes every cycle.

Also I am changing my status column. Is that possible using "Update" for this type of results?

Hi Prakash

No Update will check if the Key fields are same for any existing record. As Timestamp is part of the key and you have datenow for it update will never update the records as it will treat this as a new record.
