Units of Measure in EHS Recipe Management

Hi Everyone.

I want to add my own measurement unit in RMWB, Inside Recipe, for a recipe that I created, under its formula tab and Quantities sub-tab. Although it contains only mass and volume units, I created my own mass units in CUNI but they do not appear in the list of units in the Formula>Quantities section.

Can anyone tell em what I am missing? How can I get those units to appear in the list? All help will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Bilal Ahmed Javeri

Bilal,

Accdg. to Help on that UoM field:

You must specify the target input quantity and base quantity only in units of measure of the dimension Mass or Volume.

You can only select a unit of measure that was defined in Customizing for Recipe Management under Define Allowed Units of Measure as a permitted unit of measure for the formula views Input and Output and Quantities (Formula (Mat., Sub.) indicator).

Have you checked the above? I hope it helps you.

Maria,

Thank you, so much, for the response! I had already taken those points into consideration; the unit I created was a mass unit and I had set the parameters under "Define Allowed Measures of Unit", but I had missed the one check that would add them to the list. So, thanks for taking me there!

But...there is another issue. Now I need to convert my created unit into Kgs. How do I do that?

Thanks again!

I believe you have to maintain the Conversion section of your UoM in tc CUNI. F1 Help on each field might help you further.

Maria, where exactly is the conversion part in CUNI? I can't seem to find it.
