Undeploy or Delete OPC UA Server (shop floor system)

Hi,

I'm encountering some challenges while trying to undeploy or delete an OPC UA server. When I attempt to delete the server, I receive a prompt to "Select Deployment Group," but I'm unable to find the previously created group in the search.

If I create a new deployment group, it will lead to additional complications, as I won’t be able to delete it later. This seems to create a vicious circle where attempting to resolve one issue results in another.

Additionally, during the deletion process, multiple deployment groups have been created, and I am unable to delete them either.

Could you please provide guidance on how to resolve this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @CC33 ,

To delete or undeploy the OPC UA Server, you need to create a new deployment group and deploy it. Once deployed, you can delete the deployment group for the one you wish to remove, as well as the one used for deploying the OPC server.

After clicking "delete" on the OPC UA Server, its status changes to "Marked For Deletion."

However, when I try to delete the previous group used for deployment in "Deploy Shop Floor Elements," I receive an error message: "The deployment group could not be deleted. Some or all shop floor elements have already been deployed." Regarding the OPC UA Server with the status "Marked for Deletion," is it possible to remove it completely from the screen?

Hi @CC33,

Once you click the delete button in "Configure Production Connection," it will prompt you to create a new deployment group. Please create a new deployment group and deploy it from "Deploy Shop Floor Elements.
Once you deploy it shop floor Elements will be deleted. Once it is deleted you can delete able to delete both deployed groups.
