Time Entry Solutions for Project Management

I am trying to understanding various time entry/confirmation solutions that can be used in a PPM-PS/FICO implementation with light number of resources.

I understand CATS integration (with HR) can be a little heavy/complex. At the same time, I know actuals cannot be posted in Project management.

We are looking for a simple solution with actuals posted against PS WBS or CO I/O and at the same time have time entry in some fashion with tie-back to PPM. If the process is manual by Project manager, that could also work.

Is there some unique/simple time entry solutions? Something like integrated simple webpage development or I also heard of PS-direct activity allocations.

Any thoughts?

Hi,

you can make confirmations with CATS (worklist for cProject, network, activities) or with CN25 (directly on the network, activities). Or you can also maintain actual datas in the Project management directly.
You can find information in the online documentation under chapter "Confirmation".

Hello,

Actually there is a consulting solution from SAP called, obviously, Time Recording. It uses CATS as a backbone, but it is completely Web Dynpro-based and correlates with cProject Resource Management.
