Hi,
Our xMII time and our Windows server show a difference of 6 hours.
I assume that there is a timezone in xMII, and that it needs to be set somewhere.
I cannot find it anywhere.
Anybody knows how to have both times the same?
Thanks

Hi Ryan,
That solved the problem
Changed the server to 1.4.2_11 and with the added
-Duser.timezone=GMT-6 to the StartServletExec.bat file (that 1.4.2_7 ignored.)
Now the scheduler is in the same timezone as the PC.
My only concern is, what my break by having the server running Java 1.4.2_11 and the PCs 1.4.2_7?
Thanks.

What version of the JRE/SDK are you running?

Hi,
There are patches, but I can only find the one for IBM and HP-UX
Tied the folowing entry in startservletexec.bat as I could not find the file servletexec.start that you noted.
-Duser.timezone=GMT-5
That made no difference.
Thanks
Andy

Hi Andy
The xMII always looks into your java server for the datatime , which inturn looks into your windows server . Check if there's is avalable any java patch for the time zone changes for the JVM.
If not then the only way around for it is to manully change the time zone of the JVM, this can be done by adding a varible in the servletexec.start batch file with the desired time zone.
for example add " -Duser.timezone=GMT+/-(No Of hrs Diff ) " in the batch file
Hope this helps,
regards,
Rajeev

Hi Ryan,
Our Server is in Central timezone.
xMII seems to be 6 hours off, like it is in Standard Time, the minutes are the same, just 6 hours different.
Server is W2K3, latest service pack, just updated xMII 11.5 with service release 2 and it made no difference.
Thanks

Hi Andy,
Can you expand on this a little? Do you mean the time in xMII is the 6 hours different from the Windows Server that xMII is on? Or are these two separate machines? Are you in the Central Time Zone?
The SAP xMII software should use the system time of the host Windows Server. Are you experiencing something different?
