Tag queries are for the retrieval of Time Series data typically from a data historian (PI, IP21, iHistorian, etc.) or from an OPC server (DA, HDA, etc.). This type of data is the lifeblood of most Shop Floor Operations and is required for many industries subject to governmental or industrial regulation.
