sub steps

Hello,

I have a situation related to sub step not popping up @ POD.

steps as follow -

1- Routing (Routing/A) was pushed from ECC to ME along with order - hence operation record is created in ME along with few other ME objects.

2- Now sub steps is created and assign to the Operations at the Operation maintenance level in ME.

3- When another Order was pushed from ECC to ME for the Routing/B (Routing version changed from A> B).

I was expecting that sub step on the record Routing/B will be assigned at the Routing step properties level as now Operation is having sub steps at the operation level assigned.

Please suggest?

Hello Imran,

you're understanding is correct, but even , we also faced that problem. Everytime, if there is a new routing version updated in the ME, substeps will not be visible in the POD.

We have raised this issue to SAP product support team and their response as below:

"Supported integration requires the following : When Operations are authored in ERP system, SubSteps (Sub-Operation in ERP) must be authored also there and sent with the Production Order.

Please maintain your substeps in ERP as sub operations in ERP routing. This is the standard scenario. I tested this scenario and the sub-steps are displayed as expected in the Workcenter POD."
