Hi All,
I have an ECAD assembly in STEP format which is then saved as Solidworks Assembly. In Solidworks feature tree, the STEP file is available as shown below.
When I try to check in to ECTR, I get the below message.
Since it is a Warning, it goes through, but the Dirty flag is activated. I did change the settings for External References in Default.txt and also in SLW, but did not see any changes.
Can anyone help how to solve this?
Thanks,
Prashanth
Hello Prashanth,
if you want to "check-in" a new file (no DIR exists) into SAP you have to use the "import" function. See the ribbon SAP PLM in Solidworks. This makes sure, that all component files and assemblies have a corresponding DIR associated to it.
Regards,
Gerhard

Hello Prashanth,
