SPRC 2.0 (SAP ECC system) message "FADE OUT SWITCHED OFF" while trying to check IMDS compliance

Hello Experts,

While trying to check the errors/output after IMDS check for a material by right clicking on the material part under product structure and selecting the "Checks for IMDS", instead of the errors/output I am getting a message "FADE OUT SWITCHED OFF" with no further information. I tried activating ticking the box for IMDS in "change check activation" but no change.

Kindly suggest! Thanks in advance.

when searching the support database for the reported symptom "FADE OUT SWITCHED OFF", get the following note 2367825 - Interface when reading specifications. Could you please check if this solves your issue.

One more thing. Your post seems to refer to the Add-On SAP Product and REACH Compliance 2.0, which has reached end of mainstream maintenance in 31.12.2020. In addition to that the Add-On is not supported on SAP S/4HANA. That means you will have to uninstall it in order to do the system conversion from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. Therefore it is highly recommend to prepare the transition to SAP S/4HANA for Product Compliance ahead of time.
