Hi All,
We have a requirement where we have to use Specification listing to navigate between two specifications of different spec types. We have built the VATs with the listing functionality.
When we click on the Specification B in the listing VAT of Specification A, it redirects us to Specification B, but the listing VAT of Specification B is blank so we can enter another Specification C since the entry in this whole process is manual.
How to make one to one relationship
1> When we enter Spec B in Spec A, the listing VAT of Spec B should have Spec A.
2> If we delete the Spec B from Spec A, the data in the listing VAT of Spec B should be deleted
We have done it through coding for other process but would like to know if this can be achieved in some other way.
Regards

Hello
no clue what you would like to get as a solution.
Regarding this block:
We have a requirement where we have to use Specification listing to navigate between two specifications of different spec types. We have built the VATs with the listing functionality.
When we click on the Specification B in the listing VAT of Specification A, it redirects us to Specification B, but the listing VAT of Specification B is blank so we can enter another Specification C since the entry in this whole process is manual.
=> thi sis the normal EHS approach. Why should it work different?
For: 1> When we enter Spec B in Spec A, the listing VAT of Spec B should have Spec A.
This is not allowed in EHS data model. You will get problems if you try it this why. If you need a kind of "reference" you should use eitehr "Reference" or "inheritance"
BUT: the spec listing has a special idea. Normally you are not using it like. A list B. But A list B, C, D etc. So you normally do not have a "1:1" relation but "1:N".
As i have noe clue regarding the business need (what you would liek to get): no further hint is possiblke
