Hello Experts,
I am looking for solution to Mass Header Status for Specifications.
I want the above mentioned status to be moved to the next level and i would need to do this for bulk of specifications.
Could you please help me in the below situation,
We are mainly working with "Header Status Tab".
I am struggling to get the solution for Mass Header Status Change for the Specifications.
I have tried the Report /PLMI/SPC_SAM_MASS_STS_CHANGE . And i am facing the issue below as it is not moving the status to the next level.(we have different statuses available like IP, in work, release)
Your suggestions will help me a lot.
Thank you,
Best regards
Chowdary

Hello Chowdary
Satya provided to you a very good hint. Only as a small add one:
The "Status" story (in EHS classic) can be enhanced a lot using other options as well.
E.g. there is a "general" BADI available which you could use as well. PLease check Customizing
This BADIs is process during any "save" of data of a specification; e.g. check https://answers.sap.com/questions/11222059/badi-ehssspecchecks.html

Hello
the "Header status" on "spec level" is related to PLM only; it is not part of EHS standard
The "Status" is a different story. This is part of EHS standard.
You have to differentiate these subprocesses:
1.) you can perform (according to my knowledge) a "mass update" of the status (not ! teh header status by using "OCC online mode" for import
2.) to do so: you need the "correct" access rights and you need to define the "values" to use in the EXCEL file which can be used as a source of data for OCC process.
For the "PLM" story: i have no experience here but I can try to judge: as with "Status" you must define a "Status net"; the one message indicates that you can not move to the next step because of "customizing" etc. Therefore: you must check the "status net" which is used
We are not using PLM so I can not further help

PS: https://answers.sap.com/questions/12899902/any-standard-functionality-exists-to-update-the-sp.html => here you have added a comment; i am now not sure: do we discuss the "Status" or the "HEader status"... For last: I can not believe that you can use OCC for updating this as OCC is related to EHS classic only
