Spatially Enriched Asset Creation SAP-ESRI

Hello Guys,

What is the best setup or system looks like if I need spatially enriched asset data created in SAP.

In other words we like to have smooth high performing ArcGIS(ESRI) to SAP EAM asset data creation/maintenance. We are only talking about asset master data here. The volume of data & frequency of changes are high. Is GEF cover any of this?.

Thanks, Sudeep.

Hello Sudeep,

At Rizing, we have integrated Esri GIS to SAP many times over several industries. In fact, we have developed a Product, Rizing Mercury, that we have implemented for several customers. Mercury is SAP certified. Here is a link to the SAP Store for more information https://store.sap.com/dcp/en/product/display-0000059383_live_v1/Mercury%20for%20SAP%20EAM%20and%20GI...

Mercury is designed to keep GIS features synchronized with SAP Technical Objects (EAM Assets and/or RE-FX Objects). It also handles geometry for GEF, supporting points, lines, and polygons. We support SAP Linear Asset Management objects as well (Linear Reference Patterns, Markers, and Linear characteristics). As you probably know SAP has now combined LAM licensing with GEF and calls the combination "Spatial Asset Management".

Cheers,
