Skip assembly scrap calculation in production order

Hi all

In our company, we have products (rolls) that can be produced in 2 different ways:

• The first way is via a new production run. In that case, assembly scrap needs to be applied.
• Alternatively, the roll is produced by cutting a part of an existing roll. A separate production version exists for this. However, in that case, no assembly scrap needs to be taken into account.

As the first way of production is the default one, we entered assembly scrap in the material master. Now, we are looking for a solution to skip the assembly scrap for the 2nd way of production. Any idea how we can achieve this?
