shopfloors using DDE

Hi,

How can we use xMII to access data from the shopfloors using DDE (Dynamic Data Exchange).

To access the DDE data from other dde clients, i need to specify:

application name,

topic name, and

item name.

Can we get the data from xmii workbench using the above details.

thanks Rick for the suggestion.

Actually i worked on few wonderware products like InTouch, InSQL, which are capable of DDE communication.

Since xMII can access data from InSQL as tags, i think it should solve requirement of getting the runtime data to xMII workbench.

I was curious if there were any other options.
