I personally think you should provide us more information what you roughly mean by shop floor visualization. Does it means you want to monitoring the perfomance / the up down time of your shop floor equipments?

In fact,
I should see the current situation of my shop floor equipments.
Example:
There should be visualized e.g. 3 equipments with traffic ligths in my cockpit. If the equipment is running = traffic light should be green. If the equipment is not running because there is nothing to produce at the moment = the traffic light should be yellow and if there is an interruption at one equipment, the traffic ligth should be red.
The plant maintenance should have the possibility to click on the interrupted machine and to see the KPIs of this equipment.
Is it possible to realize this example in MII? Are there any templates/demo/tutorials?
Thanks,
Alex
Hi Alex
There are many ways of doing it in MII. Per visualization applet or SVG....In short yes the requirements you mentioned could be done in MII. To do that you need to have knowlege of MII (transaction, applet, script...) and Equipment integration knowlege (the equipment interfaces...OPC, SECS etc). How do you want to integrate them.
Again, I would really suggest to get MII course to learn the funtionalities of MII and possible integration (PCO for eg).
