Dear experts,
we are using the SerializeSfcs SAP ME Public API in order to relabel an SFC.
We need to use the colon character (":") in the SFC label but we obtain the following error:
"One or more illegal characters (":") were entered for the field "sfc"; the characters ":,'%?*"" cannot be used in a key field (Message 1011)"
According to SAP Note #1363812 we understood this is an unsupported character in SAP ME but we have a mandatory requirement from client to include this character in the serial number, is there a workaround to allow illegal characters in sfc string?
Thanks,
Valentina

Benjamin - I will ask for it to be considered. However, it will be up to the team to decide if they are interested in accepting the requirement as a core candidate.

Benjamin is correct. I have discussed this with the Product team. There is no workaround for using the : as described.
