Sending routing changes for production order from SAP ECC to SAP ME

Hello Experts,

Recently ME system has been upgraded to from 15.1 SP1 to SP3.

After upgrade we are facing an issue when we resend production order with a new operation inserted in the operation list in order in ECC.

In MEINT it fails with the message "Error while saving routing: 'Step "xx(xxxx)" has a duplicate "xx(xxxxxx)" on this routing (Message 14527)' (Message 14510)".

When we were on SP1, it was working fine and inserting new operation and creating a new version of routing.

LOIPRO04 has been enhanced to create order specific BOM and routing and they are getting created on 1st download of the order.

I have checked the ERP Field maintenance for Router Step and all parameters are maintained for Upversion.

I also checked changing the activity for routing maintenance but it did not help.

Can some one guide me on this?

Hi,

Issue is related to step id creation. We faced this issue when a new operation was inserted in order was changed and sent to ME again. Here it tried to create a new version our routing with the additional operation but the step id of of this new operation would not change.

For example, if earlier routing had operations 0020 and 0030 with corresponding step id as 20 and 30 and if an additional operation 0025 is inserted then in MEINT it tries to create and assign step id 0020 again which is already existing.

LOIPRO xslt had to be enhanced to solve this issue.

Similar issue is faced by us.

1)LOIROU :

1.1 It is complaining the same error message ([STEP = STD_END]. Error while saving routing: 'Step "20(ABCDEFG)" has a duplicate "20(PQRSRT)" on this routing (Message 14527)' (Message 14510)).So any kind of update to Routing from SAP ECC is failing here in SAP MEINT.

Note : I have already checked the ERP Field Maintenance and there is nothing fishy there.

1.2 Sometimes it also throwing these errors where any new routing version is getting failed and the below error message is shown in the MEINT

[STEP = STD_END]. SFCs released on this routing XXX, version A; you cannot change basic structure of this routing (Message 14028)

Let me know if you have already resolved these errors.

If you do not have Simu-group in the routing and you can replicate the issue on the latest patch, then please submit a support ticket to fix the issue.

Hello, I had something similar, with same error message.

If I remember well, the cause was related to the fact that the workflow is unable to replace a routing because the routing is active

We solved the problem downloading the routing and the bom for every order with a different name.
