Scrap entire quantity in SAP ME and set status to CNF in SAP ECC

Dear all,

we are facing the following scenario:

We have shop orders with one SFC and multiple operations in SAP ME. When the entire quantity is scrapped in one operation (not in the last operation), the scrapConfirmationRequest from SAP ME to SAP ERP is executed as expected. The status of the operation in SAP ERP changes to CNF. The status of the remaining operations in SAP ERP remains in status REL. The overall status of the order in SAP ERP remains in status PCNF.

In my opinion SAP ME/MII should trigger a productionOrderCompleteRequest message in this case, which then changes the status of the order in SAP ERP to CNF.
Can anyone explain me how to overcome this problem?

Hello mamatt,

Depending on the version SAPME in used, I would highly recommend that you review the information on the "Delivery Tolerance" feature of the Production Order check link below:

Once at the minimum qty or percentage is met, then the productionOrderCompleteRequest message should be triggered.
