Our plant is starting to use DMC. When we use it to scrap by operation, I want to not scrap parts that run on parallel operations.
Example:
There are 3 operations, Op 10, Op20, and Op 30. Op10 & Op20 run in parallel and don't affect each other, the assemblies from each are used on Op30, we don't backflush until after Op30. In the component allocation in the routings, Op10 uses the components Comp1 & Comp2, Op20 uses the components Comp3 and Comp4.
How do I make it so that when I scrap by operation on Op20 in DMC, it doesn't also scrap everything from Op10?

Hello Craig,
I assume you are scrapping SFCs by creating some sort of SCRAP Non Conformance via Nonconformance Data Entry plugin in POD?
If so, you can use the following settings in POD Designer:
Change "Auto Split Partial SFC Quantity" for Nonconformance Data Entry to Ask or Always.
Switch On "Quantity Displayed" and "Quantity Editable" for SFC Card plugin, so you can enter the SFC quantity that you want to scrap, instead of scrapping the whole SFC quantity.
With this setup, you can raise a NC scrapping only a smaller part of the whole SFC quantity.
Hope it helps!
