SAPUI5 date field clear

Hi,

I have a textbox with type Date in my MII web page.Text box is SAP UI5 control.

I can input the date through the calender in the text box.But I am not able to clear the date in the text box.I can only change the date through calender.

How to clear the date in the text box?

Hi Naga,

I don't recall anything at the moment on how to clear a textbox with Date. but you can always try a full proof workaround .

you can use the same code logic -  instead of try clearing it ,replace it with an empty textbox when ever required (or may change the value of text box to empty).

It should work.
