SAP PS-PPM schedule integration

Hello SAP user experts,

is it possible to integrate the scheduling from SAP PS into SAP PPM? So that I assign the dates in the wbs or network plan to a phase in a PPM project.

I would be grateful for any solution or advice.

The standard shadow project from a PPM Project to a PS Project is the PS Project is a WBS only project. The WBS Elements are 1:1 with the Phases and Tasks of the PPM Project. Therefore you can't schedule the PS project using network scheduling. The scheduling is done on the PPM Project where there are constraints and connections to facilitate scheduling.

thanks for the answer.

Do you know how I can import the schedule from PPM to PS? I have the integration between this two components and the WBS Elements are generated automaticlly in PPM for the Phases and Tasks. In PS I can see the WBS Elements, but not the schedule for these. Is that normal?

There isn't standard functionality to sync the project schedule from PPM to PS. The thinking is that the PPM Project provides all the scheduling capability needed. The WBS only PS Project is only necessary to accept actual costs and send them to PPM. There shouldn't be a need to access the PS Project directly.
