Hi Gurus,

I'm starting with SAP PPM and PS and i'm trying to understand all the concepts.

I need to work with Item Initiative, Review and collection functions in relation to mapped business requirements.

I was not able to find any blog with that information / differences / examples that can help me to explain to the Client.

Does anyone has information that can help me??

Thanks in advance.

Antonella

Hi Ken

Thank you for your response.

I read that link but I'm still having doubts regarding those concepts.

When i should use each portfolio item? Do you have any real example where those concepts can be applied?

Thank you.

Initiatives, Reviews, and Collections are different ways of grouping together Portfolio Items. Portfolio Items are assigned to a Portfolio Bucket as a primary collection point. Then the Items can also be assigned to other grouping objects such as Initiatives or Collections because they have a common theme. Reviews are used to perform a periodic grouping such as a monthly approval committee so they can be compared and approved or rejected.

For a really detailed explanation you be get the SAP Press book on PPM.
