Dear community,
as the SAP Library says, one of the prerequisites of a phases approval is that...
"The phase to which the approval belongs has the status Released and all approval-relevant tasks and checklist items have been completed or finished (see Confirming Tasks and Confirming Checklist Items)."
As I followed the instructions and started a phase approval, I recognized that the tasks within the phase were not completed or finished yet.
Nevertheless, SAP PPM allowed to continue with the phase approval.
Is there any setting within the customizing that overrides the prerequisites?
Below you can find my phases customizing:

Dear Daniel,
If the task must be completed urgently, select the Mandatory checkbox on tab "Additional Data". In this case, you can only complete the phase to which the task belongs if the task has the status Completed.
If the task must be completed so that the phase to which it belongs can be approved, select the Relev. for App.
(Relevant for Approval) checkbox on tab "Additional Data".
