Hi Experts,
I need assistance in below Scenario.
In my Portfolio, there are 5 decision points.
1. Business requirement is to restrict creation of PS Project from PPM item to SAP PS at first decision point.
Until First decision point all approvals are completed, user should not be able to create PS project from PPM (Create Project on Saving). How this can be achieved ?
2. This is required that when project shall be triggered, it should validate the Customer fields, 3-4 customer fields should be maintained at PS project trigger event from PPM.? How this can be achieved?
3. Item Customer fields on Custom component tab for a specific Item Type are required and that too needs to be mandatory. These fields are not required in other Item type's. Is it feasible in standard?
As I observed Item fields can be mandatory, read, required at portfolio level not at Item type level.
Please advise in this regards.

Hi Gaurav,
You can try to use BAdI INM_OF_SYNC to control the creation of the PS-Project based on the item.
(The drop-down field for the "project-template and the flag "create project when saving" can be controlled by switches 0006/0007 and 0006/0008.)
You can check, if BAdI /RPM/OBJECT_SERVICES or BAdI /RPM/ITEM_API can help for the fieldcontrol depending on the item-type.
