We have the following scenarios in PPM
I tried creating 3 roles with the authorization object ACO_SUPER but not able to achieve the above requirement.
I also tried providing ACL authorizations at object level through miscellaneous->authorizations->user roles and assigned the roles to the user in the backend.
Could you please suggest how to build the roles to meet the above requirement.
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Prashanth,
Here is the link to the online documentation:

Thanks Judith,
I did go through the link, but it did not answer my question. Also, as you have mentioned above for case 1, If Create access is given at the Bucket level, then the user will be able to create an Item (perfect), but he will also be able to edit the Bucket fields. How can we restrict Bucket edit, but provide access to create an Item?
Can you suggest a solution here?
Thanks,
Prashanth
Hi,
I can provide the following inputs to your cases:
Case 1/3: The user needs the authorization for authorization object "Create" to create an object under the business object.
See online documentation https://help.sap.com/viewer/DRAFT/213a68a4ef6e448e8e49d8f67d1a1607/6.1.08/en-US/48f8a4bc3a4f6b41

Case 2:
It´s not possible to provide the user "display" authorization for the item - whereas this
user should be able to maintain financial planning values for the item.
Maybe BAdi /RPM/AUTHORIZATION can be helpful here.

Judith
