Hi, a very basic question... Can SAP PPM 5.0 be not in the same box as ERP?
If you look at the install guide it will give you options to install on a stand alone landscape or on ECC 6.0x. Please take a look as it is up to date and has the necessary SP and EHP levels to support the install on the same box as ECC.

Yes, it is very much possible. We are using PPM 5.0 and ECC in same box.
As mentoned by Gerald, please check the relevant SP and EhP of ECC.
