SAP Portfolio Management "Item Overview"

Hi all, we are currently in cprXrpm Release 450-700 level 12.  In SAP Netweaver (IT Portfolio Management), we have a requirement to add an additional tab to  Item Overview.  Currently, we have General Information, Financial Overview, Capacity Overview, Authorizations, and Notes tabs.

We would like to add another new tab, in Item Overview,  along with the current tabs presented.  Is there flexibility, in RPM 4.5, to perform this function?  If so, please explain.

Hi Karen,

I have not worked with 4.5 for a long time. That is what I recall:

you can assign fields to field groups (customizing: Global Customizing -> Global Field Settings -> Assign Fields to Tab Pages). If I am not mistaken, assigning fields to tab page ADDL_INFO will create an additional tab.

Besides you can link you own, for example, web dynpro abap applications into the standard navigation. This happens through customizing: Global Customizing -> Process and Service Settings

-> Define Navigation. But that will not create a tab, but a new navigation link in the left 'side panel'.
