SAP PCo and Scale Itegration - No Reponse from Scale

Hello,

Below is system details.

SAP MII Version: 15.4.1.3

SAP PCo Version: 15.4.3.4

Scale Details: Mettler Toledo IND690

Ethernet to Serial Device Converter Used: Brainboxes ES-246 (http://www.brainboxes.com/files/catalog/product/ES/ES-246/documents/ES-246-datasheet.pdf)

Currently, we have the following setup. The issue is we are not getting the scale response back to SAP PCo.

• SAP PCo Socket Source System defined
• PCo Agent created with log level Verbose, Server type as SAP MII Query server and subscription item added
• PCo Notification is defined for the Agent with trigger type as Always to send the data to SAP MII transaction to store the XML in workbench. Tested it using 'Test Delivery Notification'
• PCo Connection is created with the Agent defined
• PCo query is created to send the command to scale
• We can see the log that the command is sent but not getting any response back.
• The Scale command is verified with MT manual and works when the telnet is done to the scale.

In The PCo agent log, we can see that command is sent to scale but we do not get the response back. Can someone please suggest options to try?

Is it a two channel Serial Channel device?

According to the Mettler MT-SICS Interface Commands for Weigh Modules, Section 2.1, all commands sent to the scale must be terminated with carriage return/line feed pair. Looks like your system is only sending the linefeed (0x0A), shown as in the raw message, and not the carriage return (0x0D). I have a similar interface and all commands are sent using the cr/lf pair as the terminator.

Also, the device above is a 1-channel device server since it only has 1 serial port.
