Hi Experts,

We are using SAP PCo(15.3) and SAP MII (15.2) for shop floor integration. SAP PCo and SAP MII are on different server but in same network. As part of project we want to write back few messages to shop floor. We did open firewall between SAP MII machine and SAP PCo machine . Issue we are facing here is as follows

1) When we can create data servers in SAP MII and try to read instances in SAP PCo ,it gives error of socket not accessible.

example , Instance in PCo have port mentioned as 9000 and when I try to create data server for this instance ,it gives socket not accessible error.

Solution: We opened port 9000 from MII server and instance created successfully .

Now my question is , do I have to open port for each PCo instance where I m trying to write back?

does maintaining PCo system IP address or host name to the SAP MII server host file, C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts help?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Neha
