We have recently deployed SAP ME MII version 15.4 to run a POC and =assess the feasibility of using this product.
We have setup integration between our SAP ERP and SAP ME systems to look at capabilities of ME and can successfully transfer Materials, BOM's routing and workcentres in to SAP ME via MII however when we try and transfer production orders using document type LOIPRO03 the following failure message is generated in the SAP Mii MEINT message queue
[STEP = STD_END]. Qty value for "Material 1" must be greater than zero (Message 14927). see example below
The material in question is the raw material within the BOM of the production order and does have a quantity set in our ERP system. We have already successfully transfer across the finishing material, raw material work centre and routing but cannot get the production order to successfully transfer.
Has anyone come across this error before and could provide some guidance?

Thanks for the comments and feedback.
SAP Note 2644033 appears to have come in with 15.1 and changes the mappings within the LOIPRO XSLT for calculating the quantities of the BOM. ASQTY appears to take in to consideration the proportion of scrap allowance / tolerance for an order. This results in a less than zero quantity for Bill of material components resulting in the error. As Chuck pointed out above modifying the LOIPRO XSLT and taking out ASQTY and replacing with NOMNG or BDMNG as it was originally corrects the issue.
THis has now been resolved.

Hi!
The change of ASQTY came in with SAP Note 2644033 supported by 2198577 and 2911466.

Hi Chuck,
We had been advised by SAP support to update to the latest version . Which we have done but now have a different issue open as ME will not start up. So for us the issue is not resolved. However when i can get back into the system i will check your solution and see if its the same for us.
Thanks,
Dave

To anyone else experiencing this problem. For us it was caused by a field mapping in the LOIPRO XSLT for the IDoc value 'ASQTY' being used for Component Quantity. The XSLT was attempting to use this value instead of the normal quantity field (as described in the documentation). Once we commented out the ASQTY and replaced the mapping everything worked as expected.
We are still unsure of the purpose of ASQTY and do not see it covered anywhere in the MEINT documentation.
