SAP ME Substeps - finished steps not saved when SFC is signed off

When some sub steps are marked as Finished and there are more to be processed, then the user does a signoff (placed back in queue), the finished sub-steps statuses do not stay marked as Finished. When the SFC is re-started all of the sub steps are back in Ready status.

Is this expected behavior? Is there a way to configure the system, so that the sub steps keep their Finished status when restarted?

Hi Melanie,

Do the following change -

In the activity maintenance retrieve the activity SUBSTEP_LIST_DISPLAY and change the rule ALLOW UNFINISH to YES

(see the attached picture)

Try your case and it should work and only addition thing which you get is one addition button UNFINSH in the Sub step plug in and I hope you don’t mind this.

But your case will work. Please let me know your feedback.
