SAP ME - DC Group

Hello Experts,

This is with reference to sending inspection chars assigned to operations in production order in ECC which in turn creates a DC Group.

Per help document and also the actual tests, I see that only quantitative type chars are supported and DC Group is created with chars as the parameters.

But when I try sending qualitative inspection chars (client's business needs this), I find only the DC Group is created but there is no parameters in that.

Is there any way in which qualitative inspection chars coming with IDoc can also be considered? More specifically, is not ME designed to handle qualitative inspection chars?

Would appreciate you comments on this.

Dear Srinivas,

SAP ME inspection lot interface doesn't support qualitative chars, we faced same issue.

I would like to know the answer to this quesiton as well. Steve Stubbs or someone can you please answer this as I cannot beleive that ME does not support qualitative MICs.
