SAP ME Background Processing Job not running per schedule

Hello Experts,

I am archiving WIP data to ODS using automatic background processing activity(SY999) . The system time is in CDT. I scheduled the job to run at 2 AM every Sunday system time, but the batch somehow gets triggered before 2 AM system time and finishing before 2 AM after archiving records. Again I tried to schedule it at 1 AM and it did trigger at 1 AM correctly. Any idea why the batch is running sometimes correctly and sometimes ahead of schedule and sometime it does not run at all? We are at SAP ME 15.1.3.17.

Need to schedule the job considering the time in GMT even though job last run time is showing in system time - causing lots of confusions..
