SAP Engineering control center upgrade from sp 09 to sp 13

I am currently at SAP ECTR 5.1.9 and I want to upgrade it to 5.1.13.

Require detail level answer of how to upgrade? what are the steps involved? what are the dependencies?

Need following clarifications:

Do we need to update backend add on ECTR?

Is ECTR frontend with the installer available for download?

After installation of ECTR frontend do we need to perform installation of patches or it would be done by installation of frontend?

Hello Sachin,

you need to update the backend (SAINT or SUM).

Then you need to update the ECTR frontend with the installer.

Then you need to check the changes in your frontend configuration, see https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/PLM/How+to+install+Patches+for+SAP+ECTR+Frontend.
