SAP EHSM Data from MM

Hi everybody,

we´re using SAP EHSM as the tool for our hazardous substances management. After the first implementation of "best practise" and further developments I have the problem that I cannot "read" data from MM automatically. There is the link to connect a material to the product but that´s all.

In order to create the register of hazardous substances I would like to read the amount of stored hazardous substances and the amount the different departments (I´m using them as locations) use from our products.

These data can be analysed in MM but is there a chance to insert them into EHSM?

I hope that you could give me a hint if and how to achieve this.

As I´m a user please do not only use the technical terms, thanks in advance.

Stay safe everybody.

Frank

Hello

I have to correct myself. please check the topic e.g. like "SARA Reporting".

Check this subchapter of online help.

https://help.sap.com/viewer/c2db47abe44e4aa7ab1be93e4c20ae18/6.0/en-US/e03837a033ab48138cb2f1c982f49...

Important is this subchapter "

  • Report Chemical Product Inventory by Materials provides a list of chemicals that are allocated to a certain material and minimum, maximum, and average quantities in a selected time frame for a certain location."

Hello

i believe you need a "customer ABAP report" solution. I just checked the online help https://help.sap.com/viewer/c2db47abe44e4aa7ab1be93e4c20ae18/6.0/en-US

and I could not find any solution (i was not 100% sure) in the standard

The "old solution" (here the german link; sorry) does have an option to solve that;

https://help.sap.com/viewer/22f1ac285b2c4a5d96b2c6a7d54784d6/6.00.31/de-DE/e166bd534f22b44ce10000000...

So I am sorry. you need come SAP consultant checking the topic again to get a solution.

And i am pretty sure that a solutio is possible (with a "but").

The topic is your statement:

"of stored hazardous substances and the amount the different departments (I´m using them as locations)"

SAP knows as a "storage" locattion the combination of plant/storage location.

You need therefore a "business" link of your "department" to the "plant/storage location" combination. And this is really "tricky" according to my experience here as the "location" is normally "smaller" defined as the plant/storage loaction. But does not have any other option for MM handling. So you need this business link.
