Dear all
We are currently not using SAP Open Content Connector to load data. But may be we need to change this now.
I have a question regarding "performance". As you know we have the "offline" and "online" mode.
Using Offline (via SAP EHS OCC) a dat file is created and "loaded" (imported).
For online this is different.
As we currently perform some data migrations.. if the specification in scope das have many data and if we talk about many specifications: The EHS standard import has "long runtime" (many hours).
What is the performance of SAP EHS OCC option in online mode?
Assume this: we have one REAL_SUB; we would have an EXCEL file prepared; and the content of the EXCEL files is "rougly" providing data like 80% of properties of SAP Standard property tree should get data? Is this possible? Feasible?
So what is the performance of SAP EHS OCC in Online mode?
So is there somebody out there who still used SAP EHS OCC Online mode to load "huge amount of data" for a "huge amount" of specs? (more than 1000 Specs) and what is the "runtime" for this action?
Current assumption would be: it is better to "break down" the load file size (e.g. may be not more than 10 properties at the same time for 1000 specs)
Any experience here?
Thanks

Hi Christoph,
Offline is faster than online. I recommend to split the load files, e.g. based on the main sections of the standard property tree. 1000 specs should not be a problem.
Best,
Ralph

Hello
I hoped "online" is faster. So we will stay with dat files for our migration project.
Thanks.
