Hi,

Through SAP -EH &S , the component of measurement management we would like to implement

Can some one help in giving some inputs and any guidance step by step PPT

We have SCADA system installed at the cite

How the readings from SCADA can be integrated to SAP

We work on SAP ECC 6.0 with EHP4 and Netweaver 7.0

Please guide

Hi Madhu,

SCADA readings can be integrated into SAP by SAP xApp Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (SAP xMII) module for real-time data feeding to the SAP system.

If you wish to store data (from SCADA/DCS/PLC) and then upload it into SAP system on periodic basis, then data historians like OSS PI Soft or IP21 can be installed for which SAP has got standard interfaces I believe.

Hi pavan,

thanks for the inputs

our requirement for measurement management is to capture the environmental parameters readings only

till we integrate scada how can we manage entering the measurement readings in to sap in EH& S module

regarding scada once we integrate can we take them to SAP EHS only

any other components should we have ?

where this is integrated to the data base tables of EH& S module or any thing else like PM module measuring documents

needs some clarity on this as once we take the readings in to SAP we would be able to make reports , exceptions, alerts etc...

Hi Pavan,

we could not use environmental complianace at this point as we are not in Netweaver 7.1

currently we are ECC6.0 with netweaver 7.0

we understand EC3.0 will work on netweaver 7.1 only

further is this EC will integrate with SCADA

without this Ec please guide us how to proceed

step by step guide of using measurement management of EH & S

Hi Madhu,

Measurement mgmt. is more suited for risk assessment, Hazard analysis, or any measurement of special interest. It is not suited for daily/shift -wise analysis of lab/SCADA data.

It is usefull for measurements being done as projects rather than routine analysis.

I think some lower versions of EC should be there for Netweaver 7.0 compatibility.Please check with Technidata.
