SAP EHS implementation on cloud platform with ECC version.

Hi All,

I am SAP PP/QM consultant. and wanted to know about SAP EHS implementation on cloud platform with SAP ECC versions. If yes then which & how?

I know it possible with S/4 HANA version but can any one have idea or can anyone suggest about how to implement EHS on cloud with ECC versions.

Pls advise if any one knows/have idea.

Hello

normally the "cloud" is a "service" offered by SAP and you normally do not perform a SAP cloud set up by your own.

Any how: SAP delivers two principle options: use SAP ERP/ECC as an "on premise" solution (same for S/4 HANA) and use SAP ERP/ECC as a "cloud" variant (same for S/4 HANA).

The discussion of the cloud variant is on "zero level". Never seen before any question regarding the "cloud" variant.

From software point of view: the "process" is the same ("on premise" and "cloud": there is no real "deviation")

But if you use a SAP cloud (which runs at SAP): the cloud variant has many "pros". Based on license agreement (accoring to my understanding): the "SAP cloud" receives always the "current updates" by SAP.

in an "on premise" set up: you have to take care regarding set up of "support packages/feature packages etc.) by your own.

SAP is using the "cloud first strategy" So if you use a SAP system supported by SAP (in a cloud): you will get many profits.. but there are to any "Cloud variants" (which i will no explain here)

So the "best guess" might be: ask you SAP contacts for "guidance" in set up etc. and use fo a SAP cloud (SAP ERP/ECC/S/4 HANA Environment)
