SAP EHS GLM - User Entry

Hi Experts !

I have few doubts in "USER ENTRY"

There are two place where the "USER ENTRY" Details can be maintained (or should be maintained ?)

Assigning to Template:

In CG42, using "USER ENTRY(Ctrl+Shift+F6)", we can assign Report Symbols as "user entry" and make it as Required Entry Field (Obligatory Input Field).

Assigning to Labeling Scenario:

In IMG Activity, "Specify Labeling Scenario",  we can assign Report Symbols as "user entry" and make it as Required Entry Field (Obligatory Input Field).

After this the symbol you assigned will reflect in the respective labeling scenario in CBGL_MP01.

And I assigned in both the places,

For Scenario -> GCG_CHARG(Batch Number), GCG_KUNAG(Sold-to-party)

For Template -> GCG_CONT3(Contents)

In Generic Scenario, before determining the labels, it asked the added symbols in "User Entry"

But after determining the label (successfully), it should ask for the User Entries required in particular to that template..? but "User Entry" area is grayed ?

Do I miss any other configuration steps ? Please guide me !

I am closing this thread. Solved the problem. The problem was with missing authorization field.

I tried this and it is working but now how do I enable that serial number option while printing label . any Idea ?
