SAP EH&S Business Function Activation

Hi Guys,

Besides the probability of not having new functionalities available, would I have any other impact if I decide to use SAP EH&S without activating the business function OPS_EHS_CI_1 in ECC 6.

PS.: PLM is already active.

Until unless you are in need of Flexible Hazardous check, you need not to activate that OPS_EHS_CI_1.

Dear Telcio

as you may be know: based on your current release there are a number of business functions available.

tried to give some kind of overview: what is inside in one SAP Release.

In most cases the need to activate a business function comes only up if you would like to use some of the potential enhancements to improve the work as user in EHS. According to SAP documentation: there is no dependency between business function 1 or 2 or ... So you can activate them if needed step by step. It is recommended to check IMG afterwards. Sometimes "default" customizing might come up because of the activation. You should carefully check that.

As the discussion in contentof Business Functions is quite limited here it can be assumed that

- either nobody has activated them

- and or if they have been activate no issue has been found

The GLM enhancements are discussed "often" (e.g. )
