SAP ECN number created from Change Record does not allow changes to material classification

Greetings,

we are using Manage Change Records app (APP ID F2097) to manage the process of master data changes. Amongst other we are managing material master data and we have an issue that when a change number is created it does not allow changes to object classification (in our example it is material master).

The question is:

Is it possible to customize the system so that the change number which is created from change record allows changes to classification so we do not have to select the classification indicator manually in the change master.

Our setup is as follows:

• object type MAT assigned to change record type
• change number is created at header level
• object type MAT inherits the change number from header

System allows changes to classification if we manually change the indicator in object types of a change number which was created from change record.

EDIT:

I have maintained a profile at SPRO -> Logistics - General -> Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) -> Engineering Change Management -> Maintain Profile

I have assigned it to change record type as part of change number handling at change record header creation attributes but the values are not transferred to change number.
