SAP - DMC Result's recording not working

Hi,

Greetings,

1. I am trying to see how the SAP - QM Results recording works in DMC

2. activities completed

2.1 Master data ( Material, WC, Inspection cstic created) in S4 Hana( On-Prem) and MIC is with single value + ISO units maintained for Quantitative.

2.2 Production order created with inspection lot 03 in the S4 hana

2.3 Order with inspection lot gets integrated to DMC

2.4 In the custom Order pod i am able to see the cstics ( Custom order pod = Copy of DMC default order POD) ( Refer Below Image)

3.Issue:

3.1 I am not able to generate the results recording here.

Hi Satheesh,

Good to see you in the DM community!

For QM inspections to work, you need two plugins. I see you already have the "Quality Inspection Characteristic List" plugin added. You need to create a new page and add the plugin "Quality Inspection Results". This is important that you add this plugin in a separate page, else it won't work. In the configuration section for the "Quality Inspection Results" plugin, set the page navigation to the page where you have your "Quality inspection characteristic list" plugin. Similarly, go back to the configuration section for the "Quality Inspection Characteristic List" plugin and under plugin properties, select the page navigation to the page where you have your "Quality Inspection Results" plugin. See screenshots below for reference. Also, order POD is meant for process industries. If you are working with discrete industries, use workcenter POD or operation activity POD.

Also the POD , i have copied it customized and change the Process order > Production order in its setting-FYI

1. Collect the results in DM

2. Submit the results

3. I am able to see them in the S4 Hana now.

Glad it worked, Satheesh!

Although SAP help says that Order POD can be used for both discrete and process industries, some functions and APIs won't work properly as per the SAP note# 3341834 - https://me.sap.com/notes/3341834/E. Just a word of caution!

Why not? What happens when you click on the Characteristics, inform/record value and Submit Results? What's the error message?
