SAP BOM INTERFACE BOMMAT

Hi all,

Good day!

There is a requirement to setup BOM interface. I used Standard Message type BOMMAT to create IDOC it was successful. But when I tried to change for the same BOM created it is calling same FM IDOC_INPUT_BOMMAT. Is there change indicator available in the any segments or we need to perform any custom modifications to make the interface work for BOM changes.

Please provide your valuable thoughts .

I found the function field 004 for change.

But rather making change it is adding one more line item with diff item id.

E1STZUM-MSGFN =009 was able to create new IDOCs.

For changing the existing line item to a different validity to date use didderent ECN. E1STZUM-MSGFN=005 and E1STZUM-AENRL (new ECN) to change the validity to date (multiple change number with different from and to date) Also any change for the same validity use the existing change number from the BOM to make the modifications.
