Hi Experts,

Can you please provide your advise on inspection set up for combined production order scenario in SAP AFS QM.

What is steps and procedure to do in process inspection and final inspection for combined production order scenario.

The question is really beyond the intent and purpose of the forum. You are asking for a lot of steps, and a lot of information. The forum is really not for that. We will help if we can but this is a pretty wide open question. Without know the actual business requirements, it would be almost impossible to provide an adequate answer.

What have you been able to do so far? Are you having a specific issue?

Thanks for your response.

My question is very simple and its applicable to any business in gloabally(Any manufacturing company).

Produciton order operation (I will combine more than one production order and will confirm operation using transaaction code J4A|)

10 - Forming

20- Winding

30 - Testing (inspection)

40 - Assembling

50 - Final confirmation

But i cannot do inspection for combined order through J4A|. Here my question is how i can do conbined inspections ?

Please advise .

Well, it's really not applicable to any business. I don't even have the transaction you provided in my system, - J4A|

Any chance that is a typo?

I suspect that might be unique to the AFS solution?

You use this function to enhance the standard quality management (QM) functionality in the area of inspection lot creation and processing at stock keeping unit (SKU) level for AFS materials. In SAP AFS 5.0, inspection lot was created for all the SKUs but now, you can create inspection lot for the selected SKUs (that is, SKUs maintained at the material master) during the goods receipt process.
