Hello,
We are producing in an order based scenario (SFC qty. > 1). We start the whole quantity of a SFC at an operation. Then log a NC Code for a partial quantity of the SFC (5 of 20) with disposition routing. NC Code is logged. SFC is splitted and dispositioned. Then log again a NC Code for a partial quantity of the SFC (5 of 20) with disposition routing. NC Code is logged. Error appears because SFC can’t be splitted and therefore SFC is not routed to nc routing.
Probably next number maintenance causes this issue, because it uses “SFC release” next number maintenance. For release this behavior is acceptable (we only allow release of all SFCs at once). For split of the SFC it isn’t. It isn’t possible to predict when SFC will be splitted.
The solution for this case is change the reset seq. number to never. We have configured a seq. length by 5. This is the next problem that we get is that we exceeded the seq. length, we should be reset this Manuel. If we reset by daily, weekly or so on, we can get the first problem. Have anyone a good idea for creating a sfc number them don't get the first problem?
Thank you very much,
Benedikt
