When creating a new portfolio item, the authorizations are by default set to give the creator by name ADMIN level authorization. We have setup specific authorizations based on roles, but this named user setting overrides those permissions. This is allowing the creator to make changes to the item when they should not be able to and to bypass the status network we have setup - they can advance it through statuses they should not be able to. Is there a way to set the item owner as a system account by default instead of the creator of the item? We have a custom program that will update the auths by role, but before I ask our developers to see if they can modify the program to replace the named user i wanted to see if there is a way to default in a system user when the item is created.
